The Intra-Squad Meet Results are now available. We hope you and your child enjoyed their experience with the Shooting Stars.
The Shooting Stars Developmental Program is designed for swimers ages 5 to 10 and focuses on the development of competitive swimming skills. Coaches will focus on the development of proper technique in freestyle and backstroke moving to breaststroke and butterfly when individual swimmers are ready for that challenge level. At the end of the 4-week session, swimmers will be able to measure their improvement at a red/blue inter-squad swim meet.

Swimmer Requirements
Swimmers must meet the following requirements to ensure their safety and to allow for the enjoyment of the session for all. Swimmers who do not meet these requirements within the first two days of practice will be issued a refund and will not be able to participate in the remainder of the session. This program is not a substitute for swim lessons, rather a way for a swimmer to learn and employ proper stroke techniques toward the goal of becoming a competitive swimmer.

Swimmers must be willing to come to the pool from the gate without parents (parents and siblings are not allowed on the pool deck during practice for safety reasons.) |

Swimmers must be comfortable in the water. |

|
Swimmers must be willing/able to put their face in the water and push off from the side of the pool. |
|
|
Swimmers must be able to propel themselves forward several feet using any means except the lane lines, side or bottom of pool and return to the side. |
|
|
Swimmers must be 5-years-old by May 1st, and no older than 10-years-old on May 1st (no exceptions). |
